• Low expiry dates - from 7 days to 360 days. 30 days standard, so you can lose minutes.

Calling Card Industry Cheats

• 40 second minutes - some companies define a minute as 40 seconds
• 1000 minutes for £2 – Some companies put clever charges to make it only 1000 minutes if you made one call to a limited destination in the country on a Sunday at a certain hour on the day of purchase, otherwise it is 20 minutes.
• The 1000 minutes can also be subject to charges so you never get the full 1000 minutes.
• Access numbers are often premium rate numbers which means extra cost to you!
• Billing increment - 5 minute billing so if you stop in a call you could get charged an extra 5 minutes

• Weekly maintenance charges
